Wastefall welcomes new bassist Stefanos Spanopoulos
After a quest that lasted few months, Wastefall are now a full band again. After the joining of Babis Amiridis and Konstantinos Mavroyannis on drums & guitars respectively, it’s now the time for the circle to close with the bassist. The band is thrilled to announce the addition of Stefanos Spanopoulos (ex-Soulskinner, ex-The Dancing Cripples) as their new bass guitarist. Stefanos, a seasoned musician with a deep passion for bass and a talent for creating intricate rhythms, is set to bring fresh energy and a dynamic creative spark to the band.
With an impressive musical background and years of experience in both studio and live settings, Stefanos has played with numerous bands across. His unique approach to the bass guitar blends groove and technical precision, perfectly complementing Wastefall’s complex and atmospheric sound. Known for his tight, resonant basslines, Stefanos will add a bold new dimension to Wastefall’s live performances and upcoming recordings.
“We’re incredibly excited to welcome Stefanos to the Wastefall family,” says Domenik Papaemmanouil (vocals/guitars/keys). “His musical depth and presence bring a new level of richness to our music, and we can’t wait to share this new chapter with our fans.”
With this invigorated lineup, Wastefall is gearing up for an exciting season, including upcoming live performances and new releases in development. Fans can look forward to hearing Stefanos’ distinctive bass grooves and experiencing the revitalized synergy Wastefall is set to deliver.
Stefanos Spanopoulos comments: “It is a great honour for me and it makes me very happy to play among these guys! I can still bring the image to my memory, when I first listened to the “Soulrain 21” record and it totally blew my mind. I couldn’t believe how these guys from where I lived managed to put out such an amazing record with such an amazing songwriting! I’m extremely happy to be in a band that I’m a huge fan of, I can’t wait to see you all on stage and see your reactions to the new material we are working on!”
