The Story So Far…
People always wondered how clever or charismatic could be a court jester, who was always that sole individual person who is capable of jesting around the king of each court without facing dire consequences. His eccentric presence is the one that tricks you and this time, he comes by to show that he’s charismatic on crafting fine tunes and incredible melodies. That’s why he haunted four incredible musicians to speak about the syndrome of being a jester. Those musicians hailing from Athens, Greece and their band’s name is… Jester Syndrome!
The band is definitely an apocalypse for those who are into the darkwave/post-punk sound filling in with also some gothic and alternative rock elements. If you haven’t come in touch with this gem, it’s now your time to give a spin to their music.
The band originally formed up in November 2020 and right after they embarked their first single “Falling Star”, which featured in their EP released under the moniker “Jester Syndrome” on New Year’s Eve of 2021.
Over the subsequent two years, the Jesters embarked on a journey of experimentation, self-discovery, and growth. Returning to their creative sanctuary, the Jester’s House, they crafted the LP titled “Shape”, which has been released as a self-release on February 2024. By the end of the year, on December of 2024, Jester Syndrome released their latest EP, entitled “Dancing Shadows”.
“Dancing Shadows” has been recorded at Jester’s house while the mixing and mastering handled by David Prudent (Amken, Bio-Cancer, Drama Noir) at Made In Hell Studios, in Athens, Greece. The photo of the cover shot by Vasiliki Sandali while the artwork created by Giota Simou.
